Central appoints Sachin Singh Rajput as additional judge of Chhattisgarh High Court

The Central Government notified the appointment of advocate Sachin Singh Rajput as additional judge of the Chhattisgarh High Court.

A notification regarding the appointment was published on the website of the Department of Justice.

“In exercise of the power conferred by clause (1) of Article 224 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Shri Sachin Singh Rajput, to be an Additional Judge of the Chhattisgarh High Court, for a period of two years with effect from the date she assumes charge of her office,”

Currently, 13 judges are functioning in Chattisgarh HC along with 13 judges as against its sanctioned strength of 22, a vacancy position of 9.
