Chief Minister of Punjab Bhagwant Mann along with other elected Members took Oath as Members of the 16th Punjab Vidhan Sabha in Chandigarh. Most of the members are first-time MLAs.
Speaker Inderbir Singh Nijjar administered oath to all the elected Legislators along with the CM. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann took the Oath First. During the speech, he promised to fulfill all the promises he make pre-election. He ended his oath with the famous slogan of Maulana Hasrat Mohani – Inqilab Zindabad which means – “Long Live Revolution.
A number of MLAs come along with their children and other family members. The Aam Aadmi Party government comes to the power by winning 92 Seats in the 117 Member Punjab Assembly.
