The Karnataka High Court will deliver its judgment related to the Case of the Hijab Ban filed by Muslim students at various colleges. A 3-judge bench will deliver the judgment of Chief Justice Ritu Raj Awasthi, Justice Krishna S Dixit, and Justice JM Khazi.

Earlier, the Hon’ble Judges passed an interim order directing the students not to wear any hijab, saffron shawls, or other religious flags while attending college classes.

The matter before the High Court was earlier being heard by single-judge Justice Krishna S Dixit who on February 9, referred it to a larger Bench stating that the case involves important issues.

The hearing before the Bench had lasted 11 days before the Court reserved its verdict on February 25.

Now, the judgment will be delivered tomorrow .i.e 15 March, and it will be seen in what direction this case goes further or ends by tomorrow’s verdict.
