NEW DELHI: Today, Union Home Minister Amit Shah held back-to-back meetings on security preparedness and logistical arrangements for the upcoming Amarnath Yatra 2022 in the backdrop of terrorists increasingly targeting migrants and non-Muslim Kashmiris in the Valley.
Shah is currently holding the third meeting on the overall security situation in the Jammu and Kashmir during the peak time
Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) said – “Home Minister held a marathon meeting regarding security and essential facilities for passengers… Amit Shah said that it is the priority of the Modi Government that pilgrims coming for the Amarnath Yatra should have easy Darshan and they should not face any problems,”
First After 2019 {PRE-COVID} the Amarnath Yatra 2022 is beginning on June 30, this year decisions that stripped the erstwhile state of its special status and bifurcation it into two Union Territories.
