A Petition was filed before the Supreme Court seeking the evacuation of Indian students stuck in Ukraine amid Russia evasion.

A Petition was filed before the Supreme Court seeking the evacuation of Indian students stuck in Ukraine amid Russia evasion. The Petition was heard by the CJI of India. To the matter, he said that he will seek the assistance of the Attorney General of India KK Venugopal. Hon’ble NV Ramana opined that ‘What can Court do in this Matter? On Social Media, I saw some Videos saying What is the CJI doing? Can I give direction to the President of Russia to End the War?’

The lawyer appointed out that most of the Students stuck in Ukraine and Girls and they are suffering in freezing Temperatures, around 30 girl students are stitch for about 6 days that too without food to which CJI said that the court does have the sympathies with them but what can it do in such a case.

In the end, Justice Ramana asked the lawyer to wait and said that he will ask the Attorney General of India to find out and will take up the matter.
